Starburst!

]]> Welcome back to another week on the ol' blog. Today's shot started off as a nice shot of a flower against what I consider to be a fairly busy background. Since I already had another conventionally (read minimally) processed shot of the same flower, I decided to have a bit of fun with this one. Its the first time in ages I've had to step out of the Nikon RAW converter (Capture NX2) for any of my processing as what I usually do is basic stuff. For this one, most of the work went into the background. As usual all comments and critiques are welcome. Here's wishing you a great week folks!

Its quite a long exposure and the white balance was quite different, I processed to give it a feel closer to what my eye saw on that night. Again, I feel that the upload has robbed the image of some of its magic but I hope you enjoy it all the same.
